Privacy policy
Information on the processing of personal data under Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended).
1. Controller

2. Server log files
When you visit the website our server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system) to keep the site secure and stable (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept only for a short time and are not combined with other data.
3. Booking form, email, phone and WhatsApp
When you send us a request we process the data you enter (name, email, optionally phone, travel dates, guests, room and board preference, message) to answer your request and prepare a possible booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Requests are delivered to our mailbox on our own mail server; a copy goes to a Google Mail mailbox (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC as processor).
If no booking results, we delete the request after 12 months at the latest. If a booking is made we keep the data according to statutory retention duties (in particular tax law, up to 10 years). Providing the data is voluntary, but without name, email and travel dates we cannot process your request.
The “Call”, “WhatsApp” and “Email” buttons only open your own app. Only then do the provider’s privacy rules apply (for WhatsApp: WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta). Merely visiting our site does not send data to these providers.
4. Audience measurement
We use Umami, a self-hosted, cookie-free statistics solution without profiling. No cookies are set and devices are not recognised permanently (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Only if you consent in the cookie banner do we additionally load the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement) by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Cookies may be set and data may be transferred, also to the USA (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; transfer based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
5. YouTube video
The video on the home page is loaded only after you click it and is embedded via the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. Only the click establishes a connection to YouTube (Google) and transmits your IP address.
6. Google Maps and Google reviews
We do not embed a map. The “Open in Google Maps” button is a normal link; after the click Google’s terms apply. Google reviews are fetched regularly by our server and displayed from a cache; no data of website visitors is transmitted to Google in the process.
7. Social networks
Links to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are simple links without plug-ins. Only after a click do you leave our site; the providers’ privacy rules then apply.
8. Fonts and local storage
Fonts are delivered by our own server; no Google Fonts are loaded. Your language and theme settings and your cookie choice are stored locally in your browser; this is technically necessary (see cookie notice).
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to info@pension-peintner.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali” (www.garanteprivacy.it).
10. Security and changes
Transmission on this website is encrypted (HTTPS). We will update this policy if our services or the legal situation change.
